世間是虛偽的、 變化的、 無常的， 任何人隨時有可能因 此而造業、迷惑、受苦。
The world is false, changeable and impermanent. Because of this, anybody at any time can commit wrong, get deluded and suffer.

人心是濁惡的， 隨著時空與環境的動盪不穩， 更是污濁難清。
Human mind is polluted, and with the uncertainty and instabality of time, space and the environment, it is even more polluted and is difficult to clean up.

在家是欲情的識顯者，在情俗裡面終而復始，永無休止。
The lay life is the embodiment of desires, one continuously submerges in them, forever without ceasing.

受戒如新生命接受大自然的灌注，使令茁壯成材。
Receiving precepts is like a new life accepting the nourishment of the great nature; it makes one strong to become useful.

清修只能短暫安頓身心，不能永遠了脫生死。
Quiet retreat can only rest the body and mind temporarily, it cannot releases one forever from birth and death.

在紅塵裡才有慈悲的真正精神。
Only in the mundane world is there genuine spirit of compassion.

「勤」在於適時、 適機的恰當因緣強有力的結合， 才能真正生出效益。
” Diligience” is when with strong and powerful combination of right timing and opportunity, it can really produce effective benefit.

「靜」身心的無牽掛， 「淨」無私地運作身心， 在靜中 能淨是修行的第一步功夫。
“Calmness” is the non-attachment of body and mind; “Purification” is working the body and mind unselfishly. The very first step in cultivation is when in calmness one can purify.

感恩是內心美妙的情識作意， 這股作意將盪起人生無休 止的漣漪直至永久永久。
Gratitude is the wonderful working of sentiments of the inner heart. This working of the heart will toss about endless ripples in life till forever and ever.

The world is beautiful－there is manifestation of beauty everywhere in the construction of a house from beginning to completion. The way a man walks is just like his poise and character, it is also beautiful, and is filled with natural arts.

欲是熱鬧的、動亂的、快樂的， 但卻是短暫的、禍患的、麻煩的。
Desires are noisy, unsettled, happy, but are, also shortlived, disastrous and troublesome.

道場是運作虔誠恭敬的好場所，能養成至善至真的好人群。
A temple is a good place for practising sincerity and respect; it can nurture fine groups of people that are supremely good and sincere.

教化是傲慢的美妙變體，靜默地隨順眾生卻能顯現教化的本體。
Instillation is arrogance in its wonderful changed form. By quietly conforming to the wills of sentient beings, one reveals the very essence of teaching itself.

吵雜的環境偶而也有令人拓展視野的時機， 舒適的生活往往令人借機墮落。
A noisy and motley surrounding occasionally can gives one the time and opportunity to widen one’s horizons. A comfortable life-style often let one has the opportunity to degenerate.
